Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NorthStar Growth Group ("NorthStar," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.north-star-growth.group (the "Site"), submit a contact form, respond to one of our marketing campaigns, or otherwise interact with us. It applies to business prospects, current clients, and casual visitors.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you fill out our market-review request form or email us, we collect your name, business email address, service area, annual revenue range, and anything you write in the message field. If you later become a client, we collect additional business information needed to run the engagement.
Automatic information. When you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this to operate the Site, monitor performance, and understand how visitors find us.
Marketing interactions. If you respond to one of our outbound campaigns, click a link in an email we send, or engage with our content on a third-party platform (for example, Facebook), we may receive limited information about that interaction from the platform or tracking link.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to function correctly and to measure performance. These include:
- Strictly necessary — required to load the Site, route requests, and protect against abuse;
- Analytics — aggregated, non-identifying measurements of which pages visitors view and how they got there;
- Attribution — when you arrive from a campaign, a small identifier may be recorded so we can credit the source of an inquiry.
You can disable cookies in your browser. The Site will still load, but some measurement features may not work.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to inquiries and schedule consultations;
- determine whether your market is available — we work with one operator per market;
- send transactional emails (confirmations, follow-ups directly tied to your inquiry);
- send occasional marketing communications about our services to business prospects who have engaged with us, where permitted by law;
- operate, secure, and improve the Site and the services we provide to clients;
- measure the performance of our own marketing channels (for example, which page or campaign a lead came from);
- meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Marketing communications and your choices
When you submit our contact form, we will send a confirmation and a limited number of follow-ups directly related to your inquiry. We may also send occasional emails about NorthStar updates, content, or offers we think will be relevant to your business.
You can, at any time:
- unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any message;
- reply "unsubscribe" or email us at NorthStarGrowth.contact@gmail.com;
- ask us to stop using your information for marketing without deleting your inquiry record.
Transactional emails directly tied to an active inquiry or engagement are not marketing and continue regardless of marketing preferences.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other roofing companies or with advertisers for their own purposes. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the business — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and CRM tools. They process information only on our behalf and under contractual restrictions.
- Advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers, when reasonably needed.
- Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of NorthStar, our clients, or the public.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business — in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.
6. Advertising and third-party platforms
We may run advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, or LinkedIn. These platforms use their own cookies and tracking to measure ad performance, governed by their own privacy policies. We do not upload your information from our contact form into ad platforms without your consent.
7. Data retention
We retain inquiry records and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the business, evaluate market availability, and comply with legal and tax obligations. Aggregated analytics that no longer identify an individual may be retained indefinitely. You can request deletion of your record at any time; see Section 9.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access — including access controls, encryption in transit, and managed infrastructure providers with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work hard to maintain it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — we do not do either, but you can confirm your preference with us in writing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at NorthStarGrowth.contact@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
The Site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
NorthStar is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, when appropriate, by additional notice on the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
